Brahma means “The Divine (self-knowledge) ” and Charya means “The Path”. So, Knowing about the divine and being in that path is called “Brahmacharya”. In this path, everything will be as one and nothing will bother you then you will do what is needed. Nothing will be attractive, special, interesting, liked, or disliked. You will see things as they are. The energy that flows within you will be used in this direction will take you to know the true nature of the self. After knowing that external pleasures are not taking you anywhere, you will enjoy the inner pleasure. In today’s modern world, Brahmacharya means only being taken in terms of physical(obstinance). But it is absolutely not. Even if you are a bachelor, married, or unmarried, anybody can be on this path since your joy will not depend on anything. You will be joyful simply. A brahmachari has the idea of thinking in one direction which takes him to the next level in a spiritual path.
